I'm using apcupsd. Works great, though I keep getting a BUNCH of error messages in /var/log/messages. I'm waiting for the latest version to be ported to RPM.
I'm using 3.8.5, and have been for nearly a year now....There never seems to be a 'newer' version on the web site. Is the project dead?
BTW. I'm just mentioning my problem in case anybody's stumped their head over it and fixed it.
How do I get my WinXP box, which is running apcupsd via network, and is on the same UPS as my server, to run the shutdown/on battery scripts properly?
It communicates just fine, but when power goes off or whatever, it tries to run /apcupsd/bin/shutdown but ofcourse for Windows the path is C:\apcupsd\bin\shutdown, so naturally fails.
I've tried mounting / under C:\ using the included mount command, but never got it to work.
Has anybody?
