i am experiencing difficulty running redhat-config-xfree86 on rh linux 8. before running redhat-config-xfree86, i run telinit 3 at the command prompt in order to shut down X. then, i run redhat-config-xfree86, whereupon i get a blank screen. it seems that redhat-config-xfree86 is hanging.
can someone please help me figure out to resolve this issue?
