Hello all,

I'm trying to build Memoize on Redhat 7.3 with CPAN and get the following problem during the make test phase:

t/tie_ndbm..........ndbm store returned -1, errno 22, key "" at

Memoize/NDBM_File.pm line 70. t/tie_ndbm..........dubious

Test returned status 22 (wstat 5632, 0x1600)

Apparantly, this (from the author of Memoize) has something to do with it:

NDBM on red hat is actually using the Berkeley DB library's NDBM

emulation layer. Some versions of Berkeley DB have a bug so that

they won't store a hash which has an empty string as the key. Upgrading your BerkeleyDB installation may fix the problem.

I've intsalled Berkeley from source and still get the same problem. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Regards,

Michael
