Well, up until just a few hours ago, I did. I did some upgrades on it in
preperation for adding a Linux installation to the system, and decided
that it would be best to just go ahead and completely rebuild the MINIX
install, since it had been so long since I last tinkered with it.

However, I kept getting TAR errors when I would try to run setup /usr
After trying it with way too many different floppies, I finally got disgusted
with it and decided to just give up on MINIX (after succumbing to Code
Rage and flinging the last floppy I tried across the room.) :p

Slackware seems to be the distro of choice for FreeSCO developers
(most likely because FreeSCO is a Slackware derivative.) But, I have
given up on Slackware now too. I tried about three times to get it
installed properly. Everything seemed to be going fine, and then when
I'd reboot, I'd get the dreaded "Unable to boot from hard drive."
message, or something to that effect. The boot floppy would get me in
just fine, but no matter what I tried (various LILO configurations), the
hard drive just would not boot.

So now, I have a SuSE 6.1 install in progress on that system. Picked up
the SuSE package at Goodwill a couple days ago for a fiver, and figured
that this would be a good time to try it out. If I decide I like it, this will be
the distro of choice for me for systems that give Red Hat problems
(namely, any that have a 3C509b NIC, which I have never been able to
get RH to recognize for some reason.)
