Quick question before you switch, Did you ensure your bios has USB
keyboard support enabled and also there should be a section about
keyboard support and it should mention OS or either BIOS, try switching
that to BIOS and testing in grub. Ive used a usb keyboard fine in grub
without 0 issues.
