On three of them, if the user is logged in to the GUI then drops to the command line (Ctrl+Alt+Fx), after a few seconds the screen spontaneously drops back to the GUI login (the original GUI login has mysteriously dropped out). There is no screen saver enabled. I suspect it is not a machine related fault as on some of the problem machines I have a second linux installation (for another class) that behaves normally.
This is frustrating the students no end (and making it very hard for me to convince them about RedHat's viability on the desktop
Can anyone out there help?
