This fix was sent to me by a friend of mine, and seems to kill the evil
pop up window ads...of course, the ads show up in the page now, but...

<begin fix>

ok... maybe I'm the only one that is irked by news messages that use the
java script window.open()... well atleast in netscape 4.05 (not sure about
earlyer... since I discovered it while testing some bugs 4.04 used to have
on 4.05) welp... here it is "-dont-force-window-stacking"
it does several diffrent things... (those being:
                                    Ignore the alwaysraised, alwayslowered
                                    and z-lock JavaScript window.open()
                                    attributes.)
now I"m not positive yet of this... I'm still mucking around.... but a
basic run through news groups caused only one browser to open (and no
consecutive ones) however it acutaly ran an applet as apposed to a simple
javascript call.

shrugs,
JL
