There was a thread yesterday about using up2date with pre-downloaded rpms (very useful for poor 56k phone-modem users). However I tried all the suggestions given but it didn't work. Here's the problem: When I run up2date not connected to the internet, it complains about name resolution. When I run up2date connected, I can't prevent up2date from dowloading the packages from the internet. I have RH8.0 and up2date-3.0.7-1. Anyone having an idea?
