Some digging around turned up this nugget of info in the FAQ at the Galeon website: http://galeon.sourceforge.net/support/answers.php?faq=plugins Note that mozilla usually looks in both /usr/lib/mozilla-VERSION/plugins and /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins. Galeon only uses the first one. Sure enough, when I added symlinks in /usr/lib/mozilla-1.3b/plugins/ to make it look just like /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/ everything worked. I had noticed that the plugins weren't being loaded, but I don't used Flash, Java or any of that kind of stuff often enough to miss the functionality. I probably wouldn't have investigated this if not for your question. Thanks, Tony - -- Anthony E.
