Thanks for replying.  Unfortunately, alt-tab does not seem to be working.
On the 'K menu' I don't have settings, but did have preferences - look and
fell - windows behaviour.  The advance tab there has no setting for key
combinations I could see.

If it makes a difference I am running stock rh7.3
