I downloaded pretty much everything recommended so far (fbview, seejpg, zgv) and haven't had any luck yet. I'll continue to struggle with it. Meanwhile, I am wondering... if I wanted to only use RedHat rpms, what would be the absolute minimum that I could install to accomplish the same thing (view gif and jpg pictures) on a system.
