Wow, what a great idea -- send unsolicited e-mail to people who put certain words in the subject of a message to a list. If they complain or ask questions, send their mail to /dev/null. Sorry, I just don't agree with this, even if it works. Besides, someone invariably writes to the list telling the person how to unsubscribe anyway.
Seems to me this is a job for the list owner. -Glenn. -----Original Message----- From: Jeff Kinz [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, February 21, 2003 12:37 AM To: RedHat List Subject: Apology to those affected: Many of you on this list may have become aware that some people on this list were receiving an email containing instructions on how to unsubscribe from this list. this email originated from a bot script of mine which has been assisting people who were trying (incorrectly) to unsubscribe from various RedHat mailing lists. -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
