Ok, I wish to install packages from the redhat ftp server, so I issue
the following command:
rpm -Fv
ftp://ftp.tux.org/linux/redhat/releases/redhat-8.0/en/os/i386/RedHat/
RPMS/perl-CGI-2.81-55.i386.rpm
This is then followed by the following message:
Retrieving
ftp://ftp.tux.org/linux/redhat/releases/redhat-8.0/en/os/i386/RedHat/
RPMS/perl-CGI-2.81-55.i386.rpm
After which I just get a prompt. The actual package is never installed
nor can I find it. What's up?
