Boldly going where no O/S has gone before...

We installed Linux in Virtual PC on a G3 266 Macintosh. Works fairly well.
It doesn't seem to recognize the ethernet adapter even though set up asked
for all the usual config information, and that is the biggest hang up. Has
anyone out there successfully accomplished such a thing? Linux is installed
on a virtual PC Drive and seems to do just OK there but some behavior is
strange... and we expected some strange.

If somebody cares to share their experiences please e-mail me off-list.

Thanks a ton!
