I think that the SO site supports resume
so
either get yourself a good ftp client ( like xmftp) or if you use netscape and
it drops out on you, dont cancel that download window until you get a new
connection.
Get the file you want back into the browser , then click 'stop in the d/load
window and clisk back on the file you want. It will load it from cache and
then resume where it left off.
I do that a lot with my poor internet supply! :-)
