I've found a site http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/pctel-linux/ that describes a way to get my pctel modem to work on my laptop. I've read the readme file and it askes me to find out the chipset

Are there any programs for either windows or linux that'll help me figure that out? If it helps I still have the pre-installed windows XP Pro still installed! I'd appreciate any help at all.
