It depends on the display manager that is configured to run at runlevel 5.
i.e. /etc/X11/prefdm calls either gdm, kdm or xdm. Since I'm now running
RH-8.0, I use gdm as my display manager. The relevant /etc/X11/gdm/gdm.conf
entries I changed are...

[xdmcp]
Enable=true

[servers]
#0=Standard
#1=Standard

Thats it!! 

BTW: Are you sure your OS X box is configured to issue an XDMCP broadcast
and/or query. I know when I boot my W2K system (Xwin32) into linux, I had to
edit gdm.conf to run gdmchooser on display :1 (ctl-alt-F8) so that I could
display  multiple X sessions on the same box.
