I believe you get this error if you do not load the following
library before calling the player. These commands are for
bash. I don't remember the form for csh, but it will be
slightly different. I have the following lines in my .bashrc.
# Add for Real Audio Player
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/etc/rvplayer5.0b3
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH
