I am running the xcalender from MIT which was modified by Purdue. I'm not
sure if it does what you want, but I have been carrying that around with me
and using it. I like that it keeps the information from each day in a
separate file in a directory. I can then use any text processor I wish to
examine the info (for searches, etc), and I can archive easily.
However, it does not handle appointments with the bells and whistles that ical
does.
Is that the xcalendar to which you are referring? If not, I can probably get
you the source if you're interested in trying that.
