If you are paranoid about your boot records, make a Linux Lilo boot
discette. Then, whenever you want to boot to Linux, you stick in the
discette. Actually, the discette needs just Lilo, and the boot continues
from your hard disk.
If you installed Lilo on the hard disk, if you have a Win boot diskette,
you should always be able to boot with diskette, and type sys c: to
reinstall the boot sector. No garantee for this advice!! I believe there
are special descriptions and commands in Redhat how to fix boot sectors, too.
But the Lilo on a boot discette is safest.
