Hi,

I posted a question/problem earlier concerning compiling a kernal. To
describe the question again, I would try to do a "make boot" and one of two
things happened:

- it would hang at init/main.o
- I would get a segmentation fault followed by cpp:output pipe has been
closed.

I captured the actually error messages in the two attached files. The first
one is from a "make boot" and the second one is from trying to do a "make
main.o" in the directory init. I would appreciate any help I could get with
this problem.

Thanks

BTW - my system is an AMD 90 with 32 megs of SDRAM and 80 megs of swap
space. I have RedHat 5.0 installed using the default 2.0.32 kernal.

Nasa
