I figured I may as well jump on the band wagon with this. From my error_log: [Sun Mar 22 05:20:54 1998] Server configured -- resuming normal operations [Sun Mar 22 05:21:08 1998] access to /usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/_vti_bin/shtml.exe/_vti_rpc failed for 123.45.67.890, reason: File does not exist RTR has no documentation (that I've seen) dealing with this particular error. They do address two others, but they include incorrect permissions. All of my permissions are correct. I'm on a redhat 5.0 machine with apache 1.2.5 and version 3.0.4 of the frontpage extensions. I'm using the apache-fp option (naturally). The apache patch 1.2.5 compiled quite nicely, so no problems there. I may be lost, but why would the frontpage extensions call _vti_bin/shtml.exe/_vti_rpc? Just doesn't make sense to me. Thanks for any help, Bryan Lawson By the way, for those who don't subscribe to the announce list, Kirk Bauer has put together a great RPM called LogWatch. I've got it installed and running, and it's quite handy.
