All of a sudden I'm unable to a) get my email via fetchmail (Road Runner)
b) run httpd. When I try either of these things I get an error message
about the PC being unable to get my server name. As near as I can tell
dhcpcd is still working properly - when I run ifconfig after starting
dhcpcd I show a valid ip address for eth0. But now more to end up with
hostname like dt3020.san.rr.com like I used to - instead it's just the
default localhost.localdomain.
I can still do most internet related activities (sending mail, browsing the
web, etc), but getting my mail is now impossible without going into Windows95.
Help! Any ideas?
