The fixes are available for Red Hat Linux If my understanding is correct, the 'initscripts' packages only run during bootup... right? (unlike the findutils and textutils which run all the time). So unless a malicious user is logged on during then, it shouldn't be an issue. More importantly, I don't have to upgrade them until I'm good and ready, unless I plan on rebooting my system. Is this correct.
