I am trying to install Red Hat 5.0 on a new 2.1GB hard drive. I replaced a
1GB drive with the 2.1GB. Red hat installed fine on the 1GB and have had no
problems with it for several months. I can not get RH 5.0 to install on the
2.1GB drive. It keeps giving me an "mount failed:invalid argument" error.
This comes after I have partitioned the drive and chose the packages I want
to install. It creates and formats the partitions with no problem. I believe
the error comes after the systems tries to mount the root (/) partition. My
partitions are the following sizes:

/ - 80MB, /usr - 750MB, /usr/local - 500MB, /home - 500MB, /tmp - 50MB,
Swap - 64MB. Both drives were installed using LBA mode and root is below the
1023 cylinder
limit. Any clues as to fixing this problem? I really hope that Red Hat can
support a drive larger that 2.1GB...
