Hello , Is anyone familiar with
why nslookup can't identify its
own localhost but can identify
the Sprint Server ? The NetConfig
Dialer shows the localhost active
as a loop back.
Interesting, Do you have
127.0.0.1 localhost
in your
/etc/hosts file ??
Yep; It recognizes the 127.0.0.1
but it doesn't respond with a localhost
name saying no response from Server.
However, it responds to the Sprint Server
making that the default: I tried this in
Win NT with same results: My question
is that since the localhost is a loop back
is it suppose to respond to a nslookup
inquiry ??
