I am trying to compile the sound support into my 2.0.30
Redhat 4.2 kernel. During "make menuconfig", I set:
        IRQ = 5
        DMA = 1, 5
        I/O: 220
The rest of 'make' went well. However, when I try to
"insmod sound" after a reboot with the new kernel,
I get:
        sb: interrupt failed IRQ7, device disabled

I don't understand is that, why it says "IRQ7" in
the error message, and I am very sure that I configured
with IRQ 5??

ps. Here is the card's setting under DOS/WIN95:
        SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 H5 P330 E620 T6

can someone tell me what does each parameter mean?
Thanks a lot.
