Yep, that I knew. Didn't know that RH5.1 gave out a different response when
the Zip drive is found.

The BIOS lists the CD-ROM drive when it boots, but does not list the Zip
drive when it boots. When I had three HD and a CD-ROM, they were on hda, hdc
and hdd and the CMOS found all three hard disks. So, auto detect does work
for all four positions. In this case the hard disks are hda and hdb, for
cabling reasons. If I have to make the Zip drive a slave of a HD, I can
do that (which also means that the CD-ROM would be make a slave of the other
HD :-)
