FWIW, I use pgcc (which is egcs with some patching). I'm kinda new to it,
having only used 1.01 and 1.02, but I've been fairly pleased with it. I'm
using pgcc-compiled kernels and Xfree. Besides a few problems with the
leading-edge developmental kernels (which is to be expected), I've had no
problems.
