I'm not sure what you mean.  You can't build an app and have it linked 
against libc5 on RH5.0, but you can run any glibc OR libc5 app on RH5.0.
As long as you have one machine running libc5, then you can always build 
libc5 apps.

This is already done for run time libs, it is only the build libs that are
affected.

Well, if our sales of 5.0 are how we will "pay for this", then I hope we
can continue to do this for a *very* long time.  We have had record sales
every month since we released 5.0.
