( its the only one so far ...! ) i havnt run xf86config as yet. however during the install, i set using (Xconfigurator) my exact hardware (matrox millenium 4 meg card) and monitor specs - ie. 1600x1200@75hzin 16 bit colour. after reading some of the entries to the red-hat list regarding mouse problems i decided to do: #gpm -k #startx to which X started perfactly - straight after boot up and login.
