If you are using the X version of Emacs, you can type:
M-x pc-bindings-mode and M-x pc-selection-mode
(where M-x is ALT-x or ESC-x)
Of course, some of the standard emacs keys are MUCH more convienment
than the windows emulation keys, and some of the windows keys are just
automatic. I use a strange combination of the two, but I know the
Emacs keys for when I'm at a VT as well.
Good Luck. Emacs may seem overwhelming at first, but it's awesome
once you learn it.
