A suggestion, for the coming updates.
I didn't find in the XFree packages the XF86Setup program. I had
to manually install it.
Configuring X with it for my Millenium II card was a breeze, also
allowing me to go 1600x1200/16bpp.
XConfigurator does a poor job, at least for Millenium.
