Hi,
I have setup my system to connect to the
internet, and download e-mail ( from cron
), however, I also connect manually at
random, and I'd like to be able to
        specify the commands which ip-up
        executes.

Currently, I have fetchpop run from ip-up
in a daemon mode, but I'd like to control
        it.

For example, when the program is started
from cron, I want fetchpop in a regular
mode - i.e. download the mail, and exit.
While if invoked manually, I want ip-up
to execute fetchpop in daemon mode.

The only problem is, I don't know how to
        do this...

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Nikita.
