Where do you have the CD-ROM hooked up?  If it is not hooked up to the first
IDE interface, you may have to add a line to the /etc/lilo.config file to tell
Linux about it.  If it is jumpered as master on the second IDE interface, add
"append hdc=cdrom", and if it is the slave, use "append hdd=cdrom".  You can
also type in the command at the LILO: prompt.  (Linux append hdc=cdrom if
Linux
is the lable to boot Linux.)
