But is the defconfig file you mentioned the one that was used by RH to build
the 2.0.32 kernel provided on the CD? I know that the RH-provided kernel works
well for me. If I need to tweak kernel settings, I want to change just those
settings that I need to change and not affect the RH-provided settings. To do
so, I need to run config (or menuconfig) with the prior .config file.
