G'day all -

And a happy Memorial Holday to all of you who celebrate it. Any who, i
have two questions that i was hoping someone could answer in regards to
sendmail.

The first, regards the newaliases command. When i type 'newaliases' i
get now get the error:

Cannot open hash database /etc/mail/deny: Invalid argument
/etc/aliases: 24 aliases, longest 30 bytes, 412 bytes total

I just started getting this error after loading linuxconf on the system,
not sure if that broke anything or not, but it sure was coincidental.
The second question regards building the virtusertable. I am currently
running sendmail-8.8.7-12. Now i thought the command was something like
'makemap dmb /etc/virtusertable < /etc/virtusertable.db but i get an
error when i do this stating:

makemap: Type dbm not supported in this version

can anyone please corraborate this command for me, i cant remember
exactly what it is, and it seems to be slightly different in the latest
version of sendmail (i.e. 8.8.8).

Thank you in advance,
Michael Weiner
