Got the same problem after upgrading a case and the HD. Machine locking up,
GFP errors, all kinds of services dieing, etc, etc.
The problem turned out to be that the wall-plug was also grounded, and the
system didn't like it. Cut the ground wire, and no more problems.

Some suggestions : Try running memcheck on your box for a few days. This is
a program that loads and test the ENTIRE memory. Helped me out in more than
one occasion. The program is on sunsite, or I can mail it to you.
Try using a MEM=16M option.
Try verifiing the memory-timings in your BIOS, and that the new memory is
the same as the allready installed ones. Also keep in mind that some MB's
don't like mixed SIMM's.
