It's described in the online help but like you said, not very well. One
complaint I do have with Pine (regarding POP accounts) is that it first
tries to use IMAP to get mail -- after a short pause, it times out and then
tries POP3. I havn't found a way to disable this to date (but I havn't
tried that hard either).
