Hello,
I encountered a problem in Redhat 7.2 Gold
(kernel version 2.4.7)
In my program, I use the SIOCGIFMAP ioctl to
retrieve the base address and IRQ for my Ethernet
card.
This worked fine in 7.1 (kernel version 2.4.2)
The pci_config_space values and the ioctl-returned
values matched!!!
However, in 7.2 the call returns some strange
base address and it does NOT match with whatever
is in pci_config_space.
Anyone knows why?? And if not, can you tell how
I can find out the offending piece of code. Apparently,
I have the opensource
