Look at the rhmask command/utility. It might provide what you are looking
for.

Subject: RPM query

Hi,
I work on Red Hat Linux 7.1, and use RPM to package my binary
release
(it consists of 5 executables).
Is there a way build and Install a Patch on the binary release ( say only
1 or
2 executables, on same path) ?.
I read Maximum RPM, it says about upgrade . But i am not upgrading full
release. Also there is sub-packages, but my release is
only 5 executables ( one package).
How to build and install Patch on the release ? Somewhat like pkgadd,
pkginfo
on Solaris .

Thanks and Regards,
samant
