Two NICs in one host on the same network? Probably only one is used for outgoing
traffic.
I don't see any point to this setup; you CAN bond the two NICs and use one IP
address for the pair (read though kernel network configuration options for more),
but unless you have then both wired to the same destination (directly to a pair of
NICs in another machine - no hubs or switches in between) I don't see the point of
that either.
