Use 3.05
I HATE it when a packager forces me (or tries to) to upgrade my RPM. IMV all
packages from any source for RHL x.y should be installable with the original
version of rpm.
If you want two version on the same machine without rebooting, your choices
include
user-mode-linux at user-mode-linux.sourceforge.org for a virtual machine
freevsd at www.freevsd.org for a chroot environment.
Both are targeted at ISPs, the former is newer but perhaps not as stable as it
might be yet.
