Well, Jalaj, there is something I think, and RedHat can help me to better 
understand if wrong.

If you plan to port a GPL driver to a non free (and open) OS, you may run in 
trouble, that's right, but if you release the drivers under GPL, and you 
release the source code, the new drivers will met the terms of the license.

I think it is something similar to that we do when we release software for 
windows, doesn't mean that this is a free patch or not, the source code 
should be ever available.

Yo may decide to contact QNX rather than the FSF to see if your work can be 
accepted.

I agree on the fact the the best is to contact FSF _and_ QNX.
