Sorry to cross post, but it applies to all three places.... This has bugged me since pinstripe. We have several printers with the queues on a Solaris 2.67 machine. Previous Red Hat releases, HP-UX, and Solaris handled lpq and lprm fine. LPRng since pinstripe has problems. printcap has: ----------- hp1 :sd=/var/spool/lpd/hp1 :sh :mx=0 :af=/var/spool/lpd/hp1/acct :ml=0 :lf=/var/spool/lpd/hp1/log :cd=/var/spool/lpd/hp1/ :lp=hp1@ms :if=/usr/lib/rhs/rhs-printfilters/master-filter ----------- On most machines 'lpq -Php1' shows the hobs in the print queue, but with LPRng, I only see the status of the local queue. I have to do 'lpq -Php1@ms' to see the real queue. Is this a design problem in LPRng, or a configuration issue? Should LPRngTool copnfigure this so that 'lpq -Php1' checks both the local spool and the real queue? -Thomas _______________________________________________ Redhat-devel-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-devel-list
