Conflicts: glibc < 2.1.90
Is what I removed from the db1 db2 and db3 SPEC files
And here follows the actual attempt at install.
# rpm -ivh db1-1.85-4.i386.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
glibc < 2.1.90 conflicts with db1-1.85-4

I'm afraid I don't understand what you are talking about...unless...
"they won't install as per the glibc < 2.1.90 requirement. " wasn't understood.
# rpm -ivh db1-1.85-4.i386.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
glibc < 2.1.90 conflicts with db1-1.85-4

Yes and being on my own with major packages and possible multiple package
dependancies is not something I have time for, it's enough I have to take care
of 11 servers 18 desktops and 2 people.
Thanks
