Hi all,
I want to try out rawhide on a Gateway Solo 9100 (I have it set up to
boot up to 3 different Linux OS but I use mostly RH 7.0) but any way I
slice it the installer dies before install begins. I'm hoping someone
has got this to work and can just tell me the secret, but if not I can
try it again and keep track of debugging info this time.
Network install is a lost cause and dies very early in the install. I
made an iso image and put it on one of the partitions and did a "hard
drive" install. The hard drive install went much better and didn't die
until it was getting ready to make the root fs. I checked the other
virtual consoles on the Alt-F keys but didn't see any errors. I saved
the anaconda debug info to a floppy for future analysis.
Any insight is appreciated.
