Rhis command will give some clues about what's changed:
rpm --verify -a
Unless they updated the rpm database, of course. It won't tell you what's
added, of course.
Don't forget, and diagnosis must be done with known good software. If you've
been broken into, there's little you can trust, but do verify there has been a
meddler before you erase everything.
