Hi,

Small problem with glibc 2.2-12 as shipped with rawhide (I haven't
verified whether or not the rawhide version and the one in updates are the
same, but I'll assume they are ;-).

With the introduction of glibc-common, installation of a 2.4-optimized
glibc (editing the .spec and changing the kernel version) isn't possible
without --nodeps, since glibc-common is looking specifically for glibc
2.2-12, and considered 2.2-12.2.4 to be newer (which, judging by
versioning alone, it is).

Perhaps Serial could be updated when linux24 is set rather than Release?
Or, an explicit check for %{glibcrelease}.2.4 could be added for
glibc-common. Or you could create a glibc24. (Or, glibc-common could be
built when kernel24 is set Ick. ;-)
