Why?  Because Bugzilla entries, when queried for ALL bugs on a
given package, function as a knowledge base.  _Sometimes_ a
given patch contains errors (Not Bero's, but others ...
<grin>) ...

and by documenting it in the Bugzilla database, the NEXT
person using the current version, and not willing to risk
Rawhide on a production host, has the benefit of your
experience.
